ZURIG 80MG

Zurig 80mg tablet is a drug used to treat and prevent gout. Gout occurs when there is too much uric acid in your body and it turns into crystals that can appear around the joints, causing painful and swollen joints. This drug helps reduce uric acid levels.

The drug belongs to the class of Xanthine oxidase inhibitors. It works by inhibiting the enzyme xanthine oxidase, thus inhibiting the conversion of hypoxanthine to xanthine into uric acid without affecting the enzymes involved in the synthesis of purines and pyrimidines.

Missed dose

If you missed dose As soon as possible, take the missed dose. When it’s time to take your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take twice to make up for a missed dose.
