What is it prescribed for?

• Chlamydia Infection

  This medicine is used in the treatment of sexually transmitted infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.

• Brucellosis

  This medicine is used in the treatment of Brucellosis which is a bacterial infection that spreads from animals and is caused by Brucella bacteria.

• Rickettsial Infection

  This medicine is used in the treatment of Rickettsial infections like Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus fever and the typhus group, Q fever, rickettsialpox, and tick fevers caused by Rickettsiae.

• Bronchitis

  This medicine is used in the treatment of bronchitis which is an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, and some Mycoplasma pneumoniae. The symptoms include cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills, wheezing, difficulty in breathing, etc.

• Gonococcal infection

  This medicine is used in the treatment of a gonococcal infection which is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Take this medicine exactly as instructed by your doctor. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent irritation. Do not take it in larger or smaller quantities than prescribed/advised. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed. Report any severe undesired side effects to the doctor immediately. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
