Niftas Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections caused by bacteria. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria, which helps to relieve symptoms such as burning, pain, and the need to urinate frequently. Each tablet contains 100mg of nitrofurantoin. It is usually taken 4 times a day with food or milk to help reduce the risk of an upset stomach. Nitrofurantoin should be taken as prescribed by a doctor and the full course of treatment should be completed to ensure the infection is fully cleared.
