The dose is not the same for every patient. Current labeling uses different starting doses for newly diagnosed chronic-phase disease and previously treated resistant/intolerant disease, and dose reductions or adjustments may be required because of adverse effects, kidney impairment, liver impairment or treatment response.
Diarrhea is one of the most common side effects of bosutinib, along with nausea, abdominal pain and vomiting.
