AZEE DT 100MG

It is used in pediatric patients:

• To manage mild-to-moderate bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains of designated microorganisms (such as acute otitis media, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, sinusitis, acute bronchitis, and community-acquired pneumonia)
• To manage uncomplicated skin and soft tissue infections
• To manage uncomplicated genital infections such as urethritis and cervicitis (caused by Chlamydia trachomatis)

AZEE DT 100MG TABLET works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis (essential for the bacteria's growth) that results in its destruction, thus managing its growth and spread of infection in affected individuals.

Take this medicine as advised by your physician.

For Tablet, Capsule: Swallow AZEE DT 100MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.

For Dispersible Tablet: Disperse AZEE DT 100MG TABLET in the specified quantity of water as mentioned on the label. Consume the mixture immediately after reconstitution.

Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.

Common side effects of AZEE DT 100MG TABLET:

Stop administering AZEE DT 100MG TABLET and consult your doctor immediately in case the child experiences:

• diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, nausea
• rash
• headache
• altered taste sensation
• vision impairment
• signs of hepatitis (inflammation of the liver) such as fever, tiredness, nausea, vomiting
• clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea
• signs of angioedema (painless swelling under the skin) such as difficulty breathing, swollen eyes & mouth, abdominal cramping
• signs of cholestatic jaundice such as yellowing of skin and whites of eyes, dark urine, loss of appetite
